Salut à tous!
*sighs* I did not want to write this post, but it’ll be unfair to not give an update for my ghosting lately.
I was looking over the total post count for my old blog recently. Turns out, I managed to publish 2,491 posts. It may not be a lot to show for 5 years, but for me, it represented what I set out to accomplish when it came to blogging. With this blog, things have been slow from the get-go. I only managed to write 49 posts for the year, which for me, is, but a bit of a failure, as I would’ve liked to have published at least 80 posts by this time, 100 by year-end, but it was not to be.

The goals I laid out at the beginning of the year for the blog was not achieved. I tried to crank out those posts, but I did not have it in me to do so. I still don’t, as other projects has captivated my attention. Looking back at 2021, it was impossible to realize those goals, as too many things kept coming up that were totally not blog related. I should’ve stepped back since April or so, but I wanted to push forward. I’ve come to realize that I was forcing what I couldn’t hold onto.

With that in mind, I’ve decided to take a break from this blog until further notice. I do have a few posts scheduled, but hopefully, I’ll be working on new content behind the scenes. I do have some long-overdue comments to reply to, so I hope to get to those soon, as I’ll be working on building the Bible study blog, and a Trinidad related blog that is dying for content. I’ll also be using this time to work on my Italian, writing, and simply organizing all areas of my life.
Thank you always for your support; I utmost appreciate it! Hopefully, I’ll be back with a vengeance at some point, but for now, it’s time to say goodbye.
Until then, may God continue to bless, keep, and guide you.
A presto!

VERSE OF THE MONTH (October 2021):
Why should the living complain when punished
for their sins?
Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the LORD.
Lamentations 3:39-40 🙌
As observed, your writing is great, have good writing communication. I hope by GOD’S will you will be back.

I absolutely agree! Thank you for this reminder. I’ve lost interest in blogging on this one a while ago, so I made a goal to push myself. However, it was hurting more than helping. Take care, Warren. I hope to stop by sometime.

Thank you Diana for your update! I completely understand, and honestly, you should be proud of posting over 2k in 5 years – I don’t think I’ve reached 300 in almost 8 years of blogging. But I believe it’s important to go the direction the Lord is leading you at the moment. I’ve enjoyed your content and words, and will look forward to more when God leads you back to this blog. I know my blogging has been sparse for similar reasons. Take care and God Bless 🙂

Crystal, I appreciate your words and support. I would’ve like to keep on blogging here, but I agree that I have to go in the direction God’s leading me. I hope to return at some point. Thank you, and may God bless and keep you. 💙

Diana, try not to be so hard on yourself about the number of posts you did. Every year has its own adventures and motivation level changes. I think it’s great you started a new blog and went with it. But sometimes we need time away. I hope it’s a blessed break from blogging and you stay healthy and happy! Come back when you’re ready. And “meow” to Jerry. 🙂 Hugs

I’m actually not hard on myself concerning the post. I apologize that it came across as such. I was losing interest in this blog, so I tried to set a goal to meet in order to push on, but it was not to be. It turns out that I really need time away.
Thank you for the encouragement; I appreciate it. And I’ll most certainly hug Jerry for you. 😃 Take care, my friend.

Agree. Sometimes you just need to stop and do other things. Take that break doing things you want to do. Hopefully time away will rekindle your interest or lead to new passions.
You are most welcome! I’ve been encouraged by you so much too. Thank you. “meow meow”

That’s right. I already fell back into an easy pace with writing, and it feels so good to explore topics I never touched before. As for art, well, one day at a time, eh?
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate all the encouragement, advice, and motivation you’ve blessed me with every time we speak. You’re welcome and take care. Jerry says “meow meow” too! 💙😸

I’m glad you’ll be working on the other blogs – I just checked in and was sad to see this as one of the first posts in my reader. 😅 How long have you had the other two blogs? I’d love to check those out. 😁

Grace! So good to see you on WP!
Yes, it’s been long overdue for those blogs. I’ve had the Trinidad one since April, but I’m yet to start posting about the adventures I’ve been on. The Bible study one I started in June.
Oh, thank you! I’ll provide the links, but they’re still works in progress.

Be kind to yourself and do exactly what serves you too 🙏🏼 I too find myself moving away from my ability to blog as much as I would love to, in a parallel world. Yet a lot of life happens, it is for us to live 💛✨

I think it’s fine if we don’t hit a goal, especially if things outside of our control caused it.
